Hello, if you’re reading this, I’m guessing that you are considering purchasing an English Springer Spaniel from Kinship Kennels. A few years back we purchased a pup (Roxy) from Carlene after the last of our previous two Springer’s were put down. Throughout my life we have owned ten Springers, and they have all been fantastic dogs, but Roxy is something a little more special. She is a fantastic dog and there isn’t a price one could put on the experiences she has shared with us! We take her hunting, fly fishing, to Walmart; basically everywhere. She is particularly fond of my nine-year-old son as they are seldom apart. Roxy never shy’s away from an adventure and a lot of times on the trails she is the one that keeps us going to see what’s around the next corner. When one of us is sick she never leaves our side (apart from going to the bathroom and eating) which is a relatively new experience for me. We have seriously been considering taking her to our local hospital to visit some of the patients because if you’re under the weather she is a comfort to have around. To be honest I have never owned a dog that is so compassionate and caring while at the same time, ready to walk miles in search of a grouse or two. Roxy has gotten us through some rough times; the most recent being the passing of my father which happened a few weeks ago. I will spare you the telling of my family’s life story, but if you are looking for a steadfast, loyal, and energetic companion I would seriously consider a pup from Carlene. Knowing what I know now about her dogs I would gladly pay ten times what she is asking and will be purchasing another in the future. I currently have a litter of my own and again Roxy is something to marvel at. This is her second litter and I find Roxy has spent more time training me about pups then the other way around. I suppose at this point that shouldn’t be a surprise, but even after three years Roxy is still full of them. All I can say is thank you Carlene and to anyone out there sitting on the fence I would say to take the leap and go for it. It will change your life. Period. "We spent months researching the perfect breeder to get our Springer from. I had met a couple of pups from previous Kinship litters and was so impressed with them and Kinship Kennel's website that we decided to request a spot on their waiting list. Carlene was wonderful, she answered all of of our questions and sent us photos of our puppy often so we could watch her grow! Meeting Thistle's parents (Ruby and Teller) was a pleasure, they are lovely dogs!
We are so happy with our puppy, Thistle. She is so smart! She is always eager to learn new things and picks up new commands very quickly! She loves everyone and everything! She is brave even in situations she's not sure about! She has never had an accident in her kennel and learned to sleep through the night almost immediately. She is such a loving, loyal dog who lives to please and we couldn't be happier with our decision to adopt from Kinship Kennels!"

Indi
"Indi is a great puppy and can he jump!  He is a very active dog when we run him and the most loving dog we have ever had!  Which is funny as we were unsure because he was our first male springer and worried he may not be affectionate.  We have met Pepper which runs in the same park as Indi.  
Indi is whistle trained and I have had him in agility classes.  Indi is up for anything. Indi does go and get his collar when he wants to go for a run! Indi is very colorful and my best friend.  He has been a great addition to our family."
